Word artist Antony Szmierek has rapidly won over audiences with his signature reflective lyrics and flow. What began as poetry performances on small stages led to expertly crafted melodies to accompany his words. Szmierek first wrote novels, two of which he published. Gradually, his writings became shorter and shorter that eventually resulted in songs. His skills of combining melodies and lyrics translate into songs as well as written works.

He was named one of BBC 6 Music's Artists of the Year for 2023, then made his television debut in Later... With Jools Holland, gave a completely sold-out first-ever UK headline tour and released his two critically acclaimed EPs: ‘Poems To Dance To’ and ‘Seasoning’.

Now he comes to AB Club to further his mission: to let others know that anything is possible!
