Franklin Foer was invited to Bozar in 2017 to talk about 'A world without mind', his book about GAFA (Google, Facebook, Apple and Amazon).

This time, he is here to present 'The Last Politician: Inside Joe Biden's White House and the Struggle for America's Future', a revealing book about US President Joe Biden. 2024 being a crucial election year (too) in the United States, the timing of the book is perfect.

As contributor to The Atlantic, Franklin Foer had exclusive access to Biden and those closest to him. He reflects on the early, difficult yet important years of Biden's presidency from an insider's perspective.

The book covers such subjects as the withdrawal of the remaining troops from Afghanistan, the war in Ukraine and the defeat of politics at a time when the stability of American democracy is under threat.

He will be interviewed by Annelies Beck (VRT).
